What is 1:1 Advising and Mentoring?
1:1 advising and mentoring gives you the time you need to tackle the issues on your plate. This is your time. Sessions can cover a variety of topics including but not limited to:
- Revitalizing meetings or implementing new processes and structures for your team or department
- Thinking through reorganizations
- Managing up
- Managing departments effectively
- Creating hiring plans
- Job hunting
- Interview prep
- Presenting at board meetings
What does the process look like?
Mentorship sessions are 45 minutes long, during which I take notes. After our session i'll send you notes along with any action items or follow-ups, frequently including additional materials, blog posts, worksheets, or other resources that may be helpful.
Again, this is your time. You can send me the topic or materials in advance to review or bring them to the session ready to talk through what you need.
Is there a minimum committment?
There is no minimum commitment or multi-session contract that needs to be signed. Sessions are easily booked via a scheduling link and invoiced individually with a variety of payment options.
